I love taking pictures and uploading it on my iPad. My clients love viewing their image on this device. Today, I took a break from working (upload and editing images) to tell you about a cool-a$$ app! This app is now available for the iPad (
click here for iTunes). You will find it both interesting and exciting. This app, which at first I thought was illegal on iTunes for $.99. The name of this app is 5-0 Radio Pro Police Scanner. If you like to listen to LIVE police, fireman, or EMS activities, this app is for you. No need to carry around any extra scanners or radios. Get this now for the iPhone or iPad. You have a chance to listen to different states and some local police LIVE radio calls (Walkie-Talkie). You have total access to hear what’s going down and where; before anyone else. And of course, its a one-way radio. You can only listen.

This app is amazing! The navigation is awesome. You can log into you twitter account and meet other listeners. You can share what channels you are listening to (by state) and what is going down. There is a tab for a map to appear on the screen that will show you the exact location of the criminal activity and how close it is to you. The live feed allow you to hear different types of criminal activities (in progress), emergency channels (EMS), and the fire department response! I had this app on my iphone 3G and it is very good but the volume is too low when you are outside.
In my neighborhood, I gather up a few kids and we all listen in. We would sit there and listen to these live feeds and try to write down the codes. Again, this is a fun app! There are 100 Top Channels from 52 states. Go check it out here!
